30 Years in Broome and the Kimberley
Broome Aviation in 2012 is celebrating 30 years of providing support and continued operation in the Kimberley. All at Broome Aviation are justifiably proud of the achievements of this company which began back in 1982 with one pilot and one aircraft. In this time we have assisted numerous remote stations, virtually all Aboriginal communities , mines, exploration companies and in general the people of the Kimberley. With an underlying philosophy of "quietly achieving" Broome Aviation continues to go about its business catering to a varied clientele and in often a harsh environment
Emergency Services Training
On the weekend of the 26th,27th November, Pilots from Broome Aviation completed more Emergency Services Training on behalf of the Government, these are practices we constantly update to be the best possible Aviation Company in Broome and to also help the community when an emergency situation is to arise.

Assisting the State Emergency Service
On the 5th and 6th November 2011, Broome Aviation assisted the State Emergency Services (SES) branches throughout the Kimberley in training it's volunteers in visual observation techniques for search and rescue. Broome Aviation conducted four flights with the 15 volunteers. As the regions only Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) approved Tier 4 Serach and Rescue provider, Broome Aviation has two aircraft fitted with specialist equipment and six specially trained pilot/observers on staff, who regularly undergo Search and Rescue Training. Broome Aviation is contracted to provide oppurtunity based beacon homing and visual search capabilities over coastal and inland regions of the Kimberley and Pilbara with availibility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Broome Aviation has been providing this service to the community for the past 22 years.
Broome Aviation also assists the community in other ways including providing flood relief for the Fire and Emergency Service Authority (FESA) and medical evacuation flight for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). With a large and diverse fleet of aircraft including largest Cessna Caravan's in Australia, Broome Aviation are able to provide Charter and Scenic Flights.
