Our Gorgeous Gorges tour gives the visitor a fantastic and lasting impression of what the best of the West Kimberley has to offer, and all in one day.
You get Gorges, Waterfalls, Remote Islands, an Historic Cattle Station and oodles of sights in between.
After departing Broome, our first destination is to Windjana Gorge. A guided tour will reveal the wonderful culture and history as well as the amazing flora, stunning bird life and ever present stars of the Windjanas most revered occupant, the Johnson River Crocodile.
Re-Boarding the aircraft we fly over the King Leopold Ranges to the remote Silent Grove airstrip. Upon alighting we undertake a 14 kilometre drive to the Bells Gorge. A further 3 kilometre walk will bring us to the precipice of the Bear Gorge waterfall. The pool that feeds the waterfall is a perfect spot for a swim. Be aware the short but steep walk during the portion of the tour is not for the infirm.
A well earned break is taken during the flight to Mt Hart Station, where a lunch is provided and you are free to walk the property.
Refreshed and re-energised we take to the skies once more and set course for the Buccaneer Archipelago group.
