Granted a license to operate in early 1999, Northwest Regional Airlines network is the backbone of the Ibis Aerial Highway, linking towns and the many tourist attractions in the northwest of Western Australia by air.

The airline has developed Scenic Flights that promote the many tourist attractions in the Kimberley, the Pilbara as well as into the Gascoyne town of Exmouth.
