Faraway Bay ex Wyndham
Code: WFB

Why not see one of the remotest parts of Australia. The only way to appreciate its splendour and beauty is from the air. Fly from the historic port town of Wyndham, established over 120 years ago to support the huge East Kimberley cattle industry.

Flight Information

Look out for saltwater crocodiles basking on mud flats, see mighty rivers feeding the Cambridge Gulf which supports a thriving prawn industry, gasp at the natural beauty of the Grotto and marvel at the feats of the Afghan camel drivers as they traversed rugged terrain to open the region up for trade, just as your flight is, by taking you to the remote resort of Faraway Bay.

After this experience there’s time on the ground to enjoy lunch and perhaps a swim. We return to Wyndham via the coast along the Timor Sea.

This is the East Kimberley. Its splendour is only matched by its size and abundance of wildlife. With a Northwest Regional Airlines scenic flight you get to experience, soak up and enjoy this magnificent country.
