Bungle Bungle / Emma Gorge ex Wyndham
Code WBE
Following fertile irrigation plains fed by the vast water resource of Lake Argyle, which now supports sensitive native flora and fauna, time is turned back as the worn ancient sandstone massif of the Bungle Bungle rises from the valley floor below. Rich in Aboriginal heritage this landform is strongly represented in local Law and Dreamtime

Flight Information

After extensive photo opportunities the flight turns northward, circling the world famous Argyle Diamond Mine, source of both Pink and fine quality Champagne diamonds. As the flight descends you now have time to reflect on the region with a refreshing lunch and self-walk tour of Emma Gorge. You may soak your feet in the campsite pool or walk through the gorge, 1hr each way, for a swim in the natural waterhole. A towel, good health and steady footwear are recommended.

With the camera reloaded the flight wings its way across vast cattle station country and the rugged Cockburn Ranges leaving you with a tapestry of tidal inlets and mangrove systems as you land in Wyndham.
