Notable scenic points are; Ruby Queen and Mt Bradley gold mines, China Wall and Black Elvire River.

On ground, your local community guide will regale you with the dreamtime customs of the local people and talk about the current day enterprise activities of the community. One of those activities is painting. There is the possibility of seeing renowned artists at work, of which certain pieces may be negotiated for sale. You will visit the derelict homestead of Gordon River Downs, once home to many of the Yaruman people. Learn about the local bush tucker and see the numerous soaks that pot the landscape in this region.

The flight returns to Halls Creek or you may choose to experience the wonder of an ancient catastrophic event in the earths distant past. Some 300,000 years ago an 50,000 tonne asteroid, travelling at 15km/s, slammed into the once volcanic landscape leaving an indelible mark and causing un-imaginable destruction and changing
the history of life in the region at the time.
